Bufo Alvarius (5-MeO-DMT) Jacket

Inspired by Hamilton’s Pharmacopeia and the magical Bufo Alvarius (Sonoran Desert Toad or Colorado River Toad) set amongst the Southern Arizona desert at sunset.

This vintage denim jacket has been embellished with over 15 hours of freehand machine embroidery using poyester and rayon threads to create a remarkable piece of wearable art that creates a major statement.

The piece is designed around the Bufo Alvarius or Sonoran Desert Toad that is found in Northern Mexico and Southwestern United States. It exudes toxins from glands within its skin, including the psychoactive substances 5-MeO-DMT and bufotenin.

This jacket is lined with a light fusing to protect the embroidered threads and ensure the longevity of the garment, and is washable on a gentle cycle, though hand washing or dry cleaning is reccommended.

This jacket is unisex and would fit up to Women’s Large and Men’s Medium size comfortably.
