Magnolias often symbolise Yin - the divine feminine side of life. In Ancient China, Magnolias were thought to be the perfect symbol of womanly beauty and gentleness.

This piece would create an incredible statement on the back of a jacket or coat, or as a part of a larger fabric or quilting project.

This iron-on patch is handmade using a freehand machine embroidery technique on a JUKI zig-zag machine, right here in Melbourne, Australia.

This patch is iron-on and can be placed and secured down with heat, but should still be permanently secured with hand or machine stitching around the edges to ensure the patch stays in place forever.

Beacuse embroidery can be delicate, it is best to choose a place or garment that does not require frequent washing or in a position that is not likely to encounter frequent rubbing or wear.
