Ram Skull Jacket

This military-style khaki jacket symbolises the resilient and weathered elements of the Earth, like skulls that remain long after a body is gone, and the fragile and delicate components that oppose them, like fine lace from a vintage undergarment.

This jacket has been embellished with over 6 hours of freehand machine embroidery using poyester and rayon threads to create true power statement and reflects the colours of the Australian landscape.

The piece is designed around the skull of the young male Merino sheep, the most common species in Australia, and lays on top of a delicately embroidered layer of bleach-dyed lace.

This jacket is lined with a light fusing to protect the embroidered threads and ensure the longevity of the garment, and is washable on a gentle cycle, though hand washing or dry cleaning is reccommended.

This jacket is a Women’s size 10 - 12.
